Trainings to improve the methodological skills of young teachers are being held at UNEC.

A series of trainings has been launched to further improve the methodological and pedagogical qualities of young UNEC teachers.

The first training was conducted by doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor of BSU     Hikmet Alizadeh, member of the UNEC Public Control Board.

Before the training, UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov spoke about the purpose of the training. Noting that young teachers are at the forefront of reforms at the university, the rector said that over the past eight years, UNEC has hired more than 700 young teachers and administrative staff.  Stating the need to improve the skills of young teachers in the field of methodological pedagogy, the rector said that a series of trainings will be held by professionals for this purpose. He drew attention to the application of a new methodological approach to teaching, spoke about the importance of individualization of education, emphasizing that the digitalization of education has created great opportunities in this direction.

Then, Professor Hikmet Alizadeh made a presentation on the results of his research on the methodological issues of teaching based on innovations in world education. The professor spoke about the role of thinking, intellect, as well as methods of measuring abilities in the organization of teaching in a quality and in a way that meets the interests of students. Noting that active teaching is based on cooperation between teacher and student, Professor Hikmet Alizadeh stressed the importance of providing students with science and knowledge, as well as attention and care for their social issues.

The questions of young teachers were answered at the end of the training   which was met with interest.
