The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan announces a scholarship program for citizens of Azerbaijan for the academic year 2023/2024.
Education level: bachelor’s degree, master’s degree;
Quota: 5 places for each educational level;
The language: Kazakh, Russian, or English;
Application deadline: 25.04.2023

- Teaching aids;
- Medical care;
- Monthly scholarship;
Note: The host country provides scholarships to exchange participants in accordance with its national legislation. According to the national legislation of Kazakhstan, the amount of scholarship awarded to domestic students is as follows:
– Monthly 36,600 tenge ($82) for undergraduate
– Monthly 86,987 tenge ($194) for a master’s degree
- The travel expenses of Azerbaijani citizens are covered once a year by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Required documents:
- Application form (transition)
- CV (in Russian or English, maximum 2-3 pages)
- certified copy of ID card translated into Russian or English;
- a copy of the first 3 pages of a citizen’s passport;
- a certified copy of the health certificate (N86) and the medical certificate on the absence of AIDS (HIV/AIDS) translated into Russian or English;
- certified copy of the certificate or diploma of secondary specialization (for those applying for a bachelor’s degree) translated into Russian or English;
- certified copy of bachelor’s diploma and diploma supplement (for master’s degree applicants) translated into Russian or English;
- certified copy of the diploma and diploma supplement (for doctoral degree applicants) for bachelor’s and master’s education, translated into Russian or English;
- Certificate of education issued by the educational institution where you are currently studying (indicating the date of your admission and graduation) and a copy of the most recent transcript/academic indicators for subjects translated into Russian or English;
- 2 3×4 color photographs.
- Letter of motivation (250-500 words, in Kazakh, Russian, or English);
- Certificate of conviction (translated into Russian or English and certified);
- Letter of recommendation (in Russian, Kazakh, or English);
- Language certificate (1000 IELTS 6.0 for English-language majors, Russian department for Russian-language majors)
