Sevda Tahir gizi Mammadova
Born in February 1975 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
From 1982 to 1992, she completed her secondary education. In 1997, she graduated from Baku State University with distinction. Between 2013 and 2014, she pursued studies in Human Resources Management in Business at the Commercial Management Institute in London, United Kingdom. From 2016 to 2018, she completed a Master of Law program specializing in Corporate Human Resources Management at Kutafin Moscow State Law University in Moscow, Russia.
Her professional career began in 1991-1993 as a manager in the sales department of Global Travel. From 1993 to 1997, she worked on various projects within the administrative management field under international programs such as TACIS, GTZ, and the ASB International Humanitarian Program. Between 1997 and 2002, she served as the head of the sales department at Azinturtrans / AZAL.

From 2002 to 2005, she worked as the Head of the Human Resources Management Department at AAB Services Firm (Netherlands), a BP contractor. Between 2005 and 2007, she held the position of Cost Control Engineer for expatriate personnel in the Human Resources Management Department at BP STAFF Fircroft Engineering Services’ Baku branch. In 2007-2008, she served as Head of the Human Resources Management Department at Apsheron Operating Company LTD.
Between 2008 and 2014, she gained extensive experience in maritime transportation, cargo handling, and international personnel standards while serving as a manager in the Human Resources Management Department at CMS (UK). In 2014, she was appointed Head of the Human Resources Management Department at Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC, where she continues to serve.
Sevda Mammadova also works part-time as a lecturer in the “Career Planning and Development” Department at the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
She is married and has three children.
