During the high-level meeting, the parties discussed potential areas of cooperation, including the possibility of UNEC obtaining a Neutral Carbon Certificate.
As a result of the discussions, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the two institutions. According to the memorandum, the establishment of a dedicated laboratory on carbon emissions at UNEC, joint research in the field, the development of a unified methodology for transforming universities into green institutions, and other avenues of collaboration are envisaged.
