UNEC and INTI International University of Malaysia Sign a Memorandum of Cooperation

A delegation from the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC), headed by the Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov, is undertaking an official working visit to Malaysia.

On the first day of the visit, the UNEC delegation was received at INTI International University, one of Malaysia’s prominent higher education institutions.

During the meeting with AP TS Dr. Choo Won Onn, Director of INTI International University, the UNEC delegation was provided with detailed information on the university’s institutional operations, governance model, educational strategy, technological infrastructure, and international partnership portfolio. Both sides emphasized that cooperation between UNEC and INTI holds significant prospects for mutually beneficial collaboration.

Rector Professor Muradov outlined UNEC’s international cooperation strategy, noting that the establishment of partnership relations with a leading Malaysian university would contribute substantially to student and faculty mobility, as well as to the implementation of joint scientific research initiatives.

The parties conducted in-depth discussions on potential cooperation in the areas of dual degree programmes, joint research projects, student and academic staff exchanges, and institutional and academic capacity development.

At the conclusion of the meeting, a Memorandum of Mutual Understanding was signed between UNEC and INTI International University. The document envisages the expansion of academic cooperation, enhanced exchange of international experience, and the joint implementation of new educational and research initiatives.

The UNEC delegation also toured the university’s modern infrastructure, including its academic facilities, social environment, technological resources, library, and laboratory complexes.
