UNEC Receives the QS Stars 5-Star Certification
UNEC has been distinguished with the 5-Star (Excellent) rating in seven of the nine categories assessed within the QS Stars international evaluation framework conducted by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, one of the world’s foremost higher education ranking agencies.
The QS Stars 5-Star Certificate was formally conferred on 25 November at an official ceremony held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, hosted by the University of Central Asia and supported by QS. The certificate was presented to UNEC’s representative, Dr. Leyla Nazirzada, Head of the Internship Organization Department, by Mr. Nunzio Quacquarelli, Founder and President of QS.
During the ceremony, UNEC’s achievement of securing 5-Star status across seven key categories was emphasized as a significant milestone for the higher education sector in the region. QS officials praised the university for its sustained progress in recent years, noting the breadth and depth of reforms implemented in the areas of institutional modernization, digital transformation, social responsibility, and internationalization.
