A Joint Scientific Research Competition between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan Is Announced
Within the framework of scientific cooperation between the State Agency for Science and Higher Education under the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Innovative Development Agency operating under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a joint scientific research competition has been announced for Azerbaijani and Uzbek scientists.
Within the scope of the competition, joint scientific research projects will be accepted in the following priority areas:
- Energy, petrochemistry, and materials science;
- Agriculture and biotechnology;
- Information technologies, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation;
- Ecology and environmental protection, climate change, and water resources management;
- Architecture, construction, design, and urban planning;
- Pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences.
Scientists wishing to participate in the competition must identify a partner from the counterpart country for the implementation of the project and submit a joint scientific research proposal on the same topic in accordance with the competition requirements of both countries. At all stages of the competition, only projects that receive positive evaluations from both parties will be admitted to the next stage.
On the Azerbaijani side, the submission of scientific research projects will be accepted until March 15, 2026. Projects must be submitted by completing the relevant application form and sending it to [email protected].
