UNEC Selects Technology Leaders for TEKNOFEST 2026
In order to ensure the participation of students studying at UNEC in the international technology and innovation competitions organized within the framework of TEKNOFEST 2026, an internal selection competition is hereby announced.
Competition Areas within TEKNOFEST 2026
The following key focus areas are envisaged:
Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies
(Artificial intelligence, data analytics, image processing, cybersecurity, blockchain)
Healthcare, Biotechnology, and Medical Technologies
(Oncology technologies, biotechnological innovations, medical AI solutions)
Robotics and Autonomous Systems
(Robotic systems, autonomous vehicles, intelligent control systems)
Aviation, Space, and Unmanned Systems
(Drones, rocket and satellite technologies, aerospace systems)
Energy, Environment, and Green Technologies
(Renewable energy, environmental innovations, sustainable technologies)
Financial Technologies and Startups
(FinTech, business models, technology-based startup projects)
Defense and Advanced Engineering Technologies
(Air defense systems, electronic warfare, high-tech systems)
Agriculture and Smart Systems
(Agrotechnologies, smart agriculture solutions)
Eligibility
- Undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students currently studying at UNEC
Selection Process
The UNEC internal selection process for TEKNOFEST 2026 will be conducted in the following stages:
- Acceptance of electronic applications
- Initial screening based on written applications
- Interview stage with shortlisted teams
During the evaluation, the following criteria will be taken into account: project innovativeness, technical justification, real-world application potential, and team competencies.
UNEC Support for Selected Teams
- Academic and practical mentorship
- Training and preparation programs
- Development of pitch and presentation skills
- Official nomination and institutional support on behalf of UNEC
Application Procedure and Deadlines
Applications are accepted electronically.
- Deadline for UNEC internal application: 09 February 2026
- Deadline for official TEKNOFEST application: 20 February 2026
