A New International Scientific Journal on Gender Studies to Be Published at UNEC
The inaugural issue of the International Journal of Gender Knowledge and Social Futures, one of UNEC’s newest academic publications, will soon be released.
This international scholarly journal dedicated to gender studies has been established by the UNEC Women Researchers Council (WRC). The primary objective of the publication is to present to the academic community research that is theoretically and empirically grounded, methodologically rigorous, and distinguished by scientific innovation in the field of gender studies.
A significant number of submissions from all continents have already been received for the first issue, demonstrating strong international interest in the journal. Articles will be selected and published following a rigorous peer-review process.
The International Journal of Gender Knowledge and Social Futures will operate under an open-access model and is licensed under Creative Commons 4.0. The publication process is carried out through the UNEC Journals platform, which is based on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) framework, ensuring management aligned with international standards of transparency and accessibility.
