Founders of AQAL Group Discuss the Future of Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies at UNEC
The founders of AQAL Group, a company operating in Germany, Dr. Mariana Bozesan and Tom Schulz, visited the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
A meeting was held with the participation of the Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov, and the heads of the relevant structural units of the university. During the meeting, the participants discussed the application of new technologies, particularly artificial intelligence, in education, the economy, and society.
The guests emphasized that artificial intelligence and other rapidly developing technologies are leading to significant global transformations. They noted that these developments are not limited to technological progress but also bring about profound social and cultural changes. It was also highlighted that alongside technological advancement, the preservation of the human factor, ethical values, and moral principles remains of great importance.
The discussion also addressed the future of education, the role of artificial intelligence in the teaching process, and the ways in which universities can adapt to the era of emerging technologies. It was underlined that artificial intelligence should not be viewed as a replacement for teachers, but rather as a tool that supports the educational process and enables more personalized learning opportunities.
During the meeting, the importance of expanding global cooperation in the field of technology was also emphasized. Participants noted that closer collaboration and knowledge exchange among countries, universities, and technology specialists are essential for responding effectively to future challenges.
The guests also pointed out that innovation, startup ecosystems, and the development of technology entrepreneurship play a crucial role in ensuring the long term economic sustainability of countries. In this context, universities were recognized as having a particularly significant role.
