The Institute of Secretariat is being established at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) within the improvement of the administration and the structural reforms. The main aim in establishing a Secretariat is to separate current and strategic management of the university administration and faculties from each other. This in general serves to improving the efficiency and productivity of management at UNEC.

Being the University Secretariat, Faculty and Departmental Secretariats, the Institute of Secretariat will be organized in a hierarchal succession. The quality, efficiency and continuity of administrative services provided for the employees and students are expected to rise significantly after the establishment of the institute.
