The next event within the Science Festival at UNEC was on the topic”What to do to become a strong economist?”.
The chief economist of Pasha Holding, Elman Eminov, made an interesting presentation on the topic at the event moderated by UNEC department director Professor Zahid Mammadov.
Elman Eminov reported on the knowledge and skills required of economists by employers in the labor market. He highlighted the importance of a strong economist having digital, research, and analysis skills in addition to his/her qualification. At the same time, he emphasized the importance of the practical application of the acquired theoretical knowledge. The representative of Pasha Holding shared his experience in this direction with the participants of the event and gave recommendations.
The event continued with a question-and-answer session.
