Educational Opportunities in the People’s Republic of China within the Framework of the Intergovernmental Scholarship Program (IGSP)
The application process has commenced for candidates wishing to pursue studies in the People’s Republic of China for the 2026-2027 academic year under the Intergovernmental Scholarship Program (IGSP).
The program enables citizens of both states to obtain higher education in their chosen fields at partner universities on the basis of a reciprocal student exchange mechanism.
Document submission will remain open until 23:59 on 19 December 2025. Final admission decisions within the scholarship program are expected to be announced in July-August 2026.
The program is administered by the Agency for Science and Higher Education pursuant to the “Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education between the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.”
