On 29-30 January 2026, the IV International Conference entitled “Digital Economy: Modern Challenges and Real Opportunities” will be held, organized and hosted by UNEC, with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and co-organized by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the “One Belt, One Road” Science and Technology Alliance, Azerbaijan International Bank (ABB), and 4SIM.

Formatting requirements

Those wishing to participate in the conference must submit extended abstracts of 6 pages in Azerbaijani, English, Turkish, or Russian, prepared according to the template (template.docx) as follows:

  • The submitted material must be prepared in A4 format (top and bottom margins 2 cm, left and right margins 3 cm) in Times New Roman (font size – 12 pt, line spacing – 1.15). The abstract must be 100-150 words, and keywords must not exceed 5 words.
  • Figures must be clear, high-quality, and centered in the text. One line space must follow the figure, after which the caption should be centered, starting with the word “Figure”, numbered sequentially, and include a brief description. Each figure must be referenced in the text, e.g. (Figure 1).
  • Tables must be prepared in Microsoft Word or Excel and centered in the text. The table title should be centered, numbered sequentially starting with the word “Table”, and followed by a brief description on the next line. The title should be placed above the table. Each table must be referenced in the text, e.g. (Table 1).
  • Formulas must be written using the standard Word Equation Editor, with one line space before and after the formula, and sequential numbering. The formula number should be shown in parentheses on the right.
  • The reference list must be arranged in alphabetical order, and in-text references should be indicated with numbers in square brackets, e.g. [1, 2]. References to recent publications are recommended.
  • The file name must correspond to the author’s first and last name (in case of co-authors, the first author listed in the paper).

  • The Scientific Committee reserves the right to select submitted materials in accordance with conference guidelines. Materials that do not meet the requirements or have been published elsewhere will not be accepted. All submissions will be checked using plagiarism detection software.
  • The electronic version of the conference materials will be published on the conference website and sent to the authors via email.
