As of July 1, 2022, the Quality Assurance Department was separated from the Center for Teaching Methodology and Quality Assurance and established as an independent structural unit.
About the Quality Assurance Department
The Quality Assurance Department is an independent functional unit within the higher education institution, directly reporting to the rector. Its responsibilities include ensuring, enhancing, and implementing development concepts for the quality of education and social services. The department is involved in preparing and executing proposals to improve quality, supporting the establishment of a student-centered learning environment, and overseeing the quality of methodological materials and adherence to state standards in the educational process. Additionally, in line with European education standards, it studies and adopts best practices from other countries that align with the university’s goals, providing recommendations to university management. The department also assesses the quality of education based on a quality assurance model and oversees the organization and preparation for local and international accreditation processes.
