About the Electronic Management Center

It was initially established as a Calculation Center. It performed as the Center of Information-Communication Technologies (CICT) since 2010.

The Center of Information-Communication Technologies was abolished with UNEC’s decree 32/3/2017 dated 19.01.2017 and the Electronic Management Center has been established on the basis. The structure of the Electronic Management Center has been defined on 15.05.2017

Goals

1. Further development of training operations of the University.
2. Upgrading quality of education through perspective information technologies.
3. Creating scientifically and methodically justified computer education system which is capable of actively affecting the training process.
4. Modernization and maintenance of the integrated information portal on the basis of the existing site of the University.

Main objectives

Technical Service Department

  1. Maintenance and modernization of all computer devices of the University.
  2. Acquision, modernization, application and maintenance of modern software (together with departments, training and scientific research sections).
  3. Support to the organization of courses, lectures, seminars, internships and consultancy hours on use of machinery for staff, assistant professors and students.
  4. Provision of perishable materials (cartridge, coloured band, flash card) to the computer devices stock of the University.
  5. Development, introduction, maintenance and modernization of AIS sub-systems for education scientific and everyday activities.

 Network and Information Security Department

  • Development and improvement of local network of the University with access to the Global Internet network.
  • Recording and controlling over use of computer time.
  • Organization of high speed internet network at all academic buildings and placement of information stalls.
  • Offering information resources of the internet network to other organizations and contingent of the University.
  • Ensuring exchange of information based on the single telecommunication network integrated to local and global system.
  • Creation of University-wide wireless access zone to the portal of skills based on WiMax technologies.
  • Creating and managing electronic addresses for professors-teachers and staff of the University.
