Karimova Shujaat Mashrif
In 1987, she graduated from the faculty of “English-German Languages” of the Azerbaijan Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages (now Azerbaijan University of Languages).
Between 2000-2014, she worked at the Azerbaijan University of Languages, Western University and Baku State University.
Since 2004 she has been working at the “Foreign Languages” department of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics as a teacher, and since 2019 as a senior teacher.
She has completed more than 20 foreign and local trainings, and presented reports at the international and national conferences.

Between 2014-2018, she was a postgraduate for a degree in the Department of “Indo-European Languages” of ANAS Institute of Linguistics. In 2022, she defended her thesis on the “Germanic Languages” speciality at the Azerbaijan University of Languages and got the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Philology.
She is a member of the Azerbaijan English Language Teachers’ Association (AzETA). She is the author of IELTS and Business English (ESP) Curricula and a number of scientific-methodical articles dealing with the actual problems and important issues of Modern Linguistics.
