Contribution of UNEC scientists to the world science
The book titled “World Market Price of Oil: Impactıng Factors and Forecastıng (SpringerBriefs in Economics))” by the rector of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) Adalat Muradov, director of the Scientific-Research Institute of Economic Studies at UNEC Prof. Hasanov Yadulla Hamdulla, the director of UNEC Business School , invited researcher in Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies (in the Centre for Brain Science) (from october 2017-2018 october) Associate professor Nazim Hajiyev, was published by the well-known publishing house of the world and the renowned Springer publishing house of the Social Sciences and Natural Sciences (SENSE) Scientific Publications.
The scientific editor of the book is the professor of Harvard Business School, the director of Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies ( the Centre for Brain Science) Rawi Abdelal, chairman of the Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship of the Milli Majlis, Academician Ziyad Samadzadeh but the scientific reviewer is the first vice president of SOCAR Khoshbaxt Yusifzade and head of department of the Institute of Management Systems of ANAS, correspondent of ANAS, academician of the Royal Academy of Sciences of Spain Gorkhmaz Imanov.
There has been described the indicators affecting the price of crude oil in the world market which are of strategic importance in the background of new trends and summons taking place in the global economy, the world market price of oil until 2020 and for the first time the econometric (ARIMA, Trend, and Hybrid) models of the Azerbaijani oil (AzerLife) enabling to predict the world market price for the medium and long-term period, based on the scientific and practical implications.
