The event was organized by the children’s choir group “Zafar Sadasi”, consisting of children of fallen heroes (martyrs), with the support of the UNEC Trade Union Committee and the Student Trade Union Committee.
The program commenced with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by a minute of silence in memory of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of the country.
A video presentation reflecting National Leader Heydar Aliyev’s care and attention towards children was also screened.
During the event, the “Zafar Sadasi” children’s choir performed patriotic songs, poems about Karabakh, traditional dances, and short theatrical sketches. In addition, participants from the “Dost” Inclusive Development and Creativity Center performed the song “Thank You, Homeland!”, which deeply moved the audience.
At the end of the event, Associate Professor Shaig Asgarov, UNEC’s Vice-Rector for Administrative and Organizational Affairs, was awarded the “Friend of the Trust” nomination by the “Zafar Sadasi” choir group.
Certificates of appreciation were presented to the choir’s leader and members, as well as to the participants from the “Dost” Inclusive Development and Creativity Center.
