The UNEC delegation was received by UTAR President Ir. Prof. Dato Dr. Ewe Hong Tat. Welcoming the guests, the UTAR President underscored the particular significance of developing cooperation with UNEC and expressed his satisfaction with hosting the delegation from Baku in Kuala Lumpur.
Subsequently, Rector Professor Adalat Muradov delivered remarks as an honorary guest, providing a comprehensive overview of UNEC’s activities and outlining potential avenues for bilateral cooperation. He emphasized that academic programs such as digital economics and game design are of considerable mutual interest and noted that the advancement of these fields creates promising opportunities for collaboration.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the establishment of a joint research center, the implementation of collaborative scientific projects, student and faculty mobility programs, as well as the potential creation of a joint institute at UNEC. These areas were identified as priority directions for future cooperation.
At the conclusion of the visit, a Memorandum of Understanding formalizing cooperation between UNEC and UTAR was signed.
