02 DECEMBER 2025 | VIEWS:

UNEC has taken another significant step toward ensuring the continuous development of scientific activity and strengthening its research-oriented academic environment.

A group of the university’s faculty members has been granted the “Researcher” status in recognition of their high-level scholarly achievements. Sugra Humbatova, Tural Naghiyev, Ayten Niyazova, and Ali Khalilov have been awarded the status of “Researcher-Associate Professor”, Nigar Huseynli has been granted the status of “Researcher-Senior Lecturer”, and Hasraddin Guliyev has been awarded the status of “Researcher-Lecturer.”

It should be noted that, since 2019, UNEC has implemented the “Rules on Granting the ‘Researcher’ Status to UNEC Academic Staff” with the aim of enhancing the quality of research and encouraging scientific activity among faculty members. According to these rules, the monthly base salary of faculty members who obtain this status is increased by 50% (excluding differential additional payments).
