Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov, congratulated the elderly residents on the occasion of the holiday and wished them good health and longevity. He emphasized that showing love and care to the older generation is a moral duty for each of us and stated that UNEC would continue to support such social responsibility initiatives.
During the meeting, Zamina Jabrailova, one of the elderly residents of the institution, presented Professor Adalat Muradov with a copy of her poetry book titled “The Dream That Was China”, published with the support of Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Subsequently, students from the UNEC Creativity Center performed joyful music and recited poems for the elderly residents. They also danced together with them, bringing moments of happiness and joy to the residents. The elderly residents, in return, recited poems and congratulated the UNEC community on the occasion of the holiday.
The meeting with the elderly men and women left pleasant and unforgettable impressions on all participants.
