The Essay Contest held among the UNEC Students
The Essay Contest dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the State Independence has been held among the students of the Distance, Part- time and Secondary Education Center of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
Director of the Distance, Part- time and Secondary Education Center Sabuhi Tanriverdiyev, Head of the Department of Azerbaijan Language, Professor Tofig Abdulhasanli and the historian Professor Abbas Seyidov delivered the information about the State Independence before the contest. It was said that Azerbaijan’s State Independence was restored after the Constitutional Act on State Independence was adopted during the Supreme Council’s session on October 18 1991. As a result of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev’s return to power at the people’s request in 1993 and wise policy pursued by our country was rescued from the destruction and civil war. Also socio-political stability was established and the conditions for the foundation of successful reforms in all areas were created.
After the speeches, the students’ essays were heard. The best essay writing students were awarded diplomas.
