Throughout the week, students took part in a series of trainings and meetings designed to help them plan their careers more consciously, gain a deeper understanding of real labor market requirements, and prepare for their future professional lives.
At the closing event, Head of the Department of Career Planning and Development, Associate Professor Rovshan Maharramov, and Director of the UNEC Career Center, Sevinj Majid, delivered speeches emphasizing that the primary objective of Career Week was not only to inform students, but also to prepare them for real work environments, expand their professional development opportunities, and support direct engagement with employers.
During the week, practical and competency-based training sessions were conducted by experienced faculty members Aygun Novruzova, Shalala Musayeva, Rauf Hajiyev, Sevinj Burzuyeva, and Aysel Garagozova. The trainings focused on career planning, effective communication, leadership, time management, and labor market readiness. These sessions enabled students to identify their strengths, present themselves effectively, adapt more quickly to professional environments, and develop long-term professional resilience.
The successful organization of Career Week was also supported by the active and responsible involvement of the “Career and Development” student organization. The active participation of students contributed to a more dynamic and interactive atmosphere throughout the event.
At the end of the week, certificates were awarded to students who actively participated in the trainings, while outstanding participants were additionally rewarded with free training courses provided by the INNAB Business School.
