UNEC at the 11th Baku International Book Fair
On October 1, the opening ceremony of the 11th Baku International Book Fair, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held at the Baku Expo Center.
This year’s fair, dedicated to the theme “Techno-human: yesterday’s legend, today’s phenomenon”, brings together 68 international organizations from 23 countries, 123 local publishing houses, libraries, as well as higher education institutions, among them UNEC.
At the stand prepared by UNEC’s Library and Information Center, visitors are presented with elegantly designed publications of the university’s Digital Publishing House, including books and journals, as well as works and translations authored by UNEC faculty members. The exhibition also features artworks created by students of UNEC’s Design School.
Within the framework of the fair, presentations of UNEC’s academic journals and publications will be held on October 1, 3, and 6.
The fair will run until October 7 and will be open to visitors daily from 10:00 to 20:00. Admission is free of charge.
