He was born on February, 1942 in Shaki.<\/p>\n

He finished the secondary school (1948-1958) and studied at Baku Trade and Culinary Apprenticeship School (September-1958 \u2013 March-1960), mastered to the specialty of 7th<\/sup>\u00a0degree confectioner specialty and worked in the position of master confectioner in Shaki Food Plant (April 1960-November 1961).\u00a0He served in the ranks of army (November 1961, August 1964), graduated from Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy named after D.Bunyadzade with honors diploma on the specialty of \u00abCommodity research of food products and organization of trade\u00bb\u00a0in 1968.<\/p>\n

He parted with production and studied at post-graduate study on the specialty of \u00abCommodity research of food products\u00bb, defended candidate dissertation on the subject of \u00abLearning of commodity research characteristics of saffron grew in Azerbaijan\u00bb on January, 1973. He is in scientific and pedagogical activity from 1971. He works in the position of associate professor from 1978 and as professor from 2001.<\/p>\n

He worked in the positions of assistant in higher school from 1971, senior teacher (1973), associate professor (1978), deputy dean (1977-1983), dean (1984-1987) and head of the department by selection for four times (1983, 1991, 1996, 2006) in Scientific Boards of different institutes.<\/p>\n

Until 04.09.2020 Ahmadov Ahmad-Jabir Ismayil – Honorary Professor of UNEC, Candidate of Technical Sciences, have worked as an\u00a0\u00a0Associate Professor of the department of\u00a0“Examination of Consumer Goods”.<\/p>\n

He was awarded the title of \u201cVeteran of labour\u201d in 1992.\u00a0He was given honorary title of \u201cHonored teacher\u201d on June, 2002. He is the member of\u00a0Azerbaijan Union of Journalists\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Azerbaijan Writers\u2019 Union<\/em>. Now, he is the director of the department of ASEU \u201cCommodity research and examination of food products\u201d. He is the counselor of \u00abAzersun Holding\u00bb from 2003.\u00a0He was awarded the \u201cGolden Pen\u201d Media Award on June 12, 2010.<\/p>\n

He has two sons and five grandchildren.<\/p>\n

He published scientific works more than 325, which total volume was more than 1150 print sheet, also published 10 textbooks, 15 training aids, 38 books and monographs, educational-methodical aids more than 40 and also program during period of scientific and pedagogical activity more than 45 years. His 72 articles were published about food products in 10 volumes \u00abAzerbaijan Soviet Encyclopedia\u00bb. Books more than 60, which author is A.I.Ahmadov, are kept in the Republic Library named after M.F.Akhundov.<\/p>\n
