Sadigov Mirdamad Mirsadiq<\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mirdamad Sadigov began his career in 1971 at the department of \u00a0\u201cFinance and Credit\u201d of\u00a0 \u00a0Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy (now UNEC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From 1971 to 1972 he worked as a senior referent \u00a0at the department, from 1972 to 1977 as a laboratory assistant and senior laboratory assistant. In 1973-1977 he studied at the graduate school of the same department and defended his dissertation in Moscow, where he was awarded the title of Candidate of Economic Sciences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1977-1982 he was the secretary of the Komsomol \u00a0\u00a0Committee of \u00a0\u00a0Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy. \u00a0Later, he worked as a senior lecturer at the department of \u00a0\u00a0\u201cFinance and Credit\u201d and dean of the Faculty of Economics. During this period, he was elected associate professor of the department through a competition. In 1988-1992, he was the director of the Baku Financial and Credit College, and in 1992-1999, he was the director of the college in connection with the transformation of the college into Azerbaijan College of Finance and Economics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">M.Sadigov is a member of \u00a0\u00a0New Azerbaijan Party. He is the executive director of Heydar Aliyev School of Economic Management, firstly established in Azerbaijan for \u00a0since 1996.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In 1999-2000 he was the head of the Tax Department of Nasimi district of Baku. In 2000-2007 he was the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Azerbaijan State University of Economics. In 2004, he defended his doctoral dissertation on &#8220;Problems of formation of the financial potential of the Republic of Azerbaijan&#8221; and was one of the first people in Azerbaijan to receive academic title of doctor \u00a0in this field. In 2007-2008, he worked as the head of the Main Department of the Center for Strategic Studies of Tax Policy and Tax Legislation of the Ministry of Taxes. In 2008-2013 he was the rector of\u00a0 Azerbaijan State Agrarian University.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">From February 14, 2013 to March 5, 2020 he was the head of the Executive Power of Ismayilli region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Mirdamad Sadigov is the author of more than 200 scientific articles on economic, financial and tax problems in the country, as well as 10 textbooks, 8 manuals and 9 monographs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He is a member of the Club of Rectors of European Universities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In April 2020, he was appointed\u00a0 \u00a0Vice-Rector for Strategic Development of UNEC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He died on January 19, 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a class=\"fancybox-thumb\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/application\/uploads\/2020\/05\/mirdamad_5352.jpg\" rel=\"fancybox-thumb\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"fancybox-margin alignnone wp-image-156182 size-image236x180\" src=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/application\/uploads\/2020\/05\/mirdamad_5352-236x180.jpg\" alt=\"mirdamad_5352\" width=\"236\" height=\"180\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>prof.
