The scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of Azerbasijan-Turkish diplomatic relations was held at UNEC on November 8. <\/em><\/h1>\n

The representatives, businessmen of the public and scientific bodies of Turkey opertaing in our counrty took part in the held conference jointly orgasnized\u00a0 by the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Center for\u00a0 Strategic Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey and UNEC.<\/p>\n

The rector of UNEC, the professor\u00a0Adalat Muradov<\/a><\/span> drew the attention to the efforts of Great Leader in the direction of unifying the turkish world and pointed out that the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway was the basis of this far-sighted policy. The rector said that Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway eliminated the economic borders between the two fraternal countries and expanded the ecomonic geography. Speaking about the relations in the sphere of\u00a0 economy and education between the two countries, the rector noted that UNEC was the only university in Azerbaijan that had been teaching in Turkish language and he expressed the confidence that coopertaion in this direction would be expanded.\u00a0 The UNEC Rector stressed the importance of preparing a single manual on the economy of the Turkish countries. He also offered to constitute the awards on behalf of the well-known figures of the Turkish world.<\/p>\n

The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Turkey to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral speaking about the Azerbaijani-Turkish diplomatic relations noted that this friendship was closely connected to historical roots, national and spiritual values. The ambassador also spoke about the prospects of economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey and highly appreciated the opening of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.<\/p>\n

The executive director of \u00a0the Center for\u00a0 Strategic Studies under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, associated pofessor\u00a0 Mesut Ozcan underlind that within the past 25 years our states and peoples had overcome shoulder to shoulder the successful path\u00a0 rich with the very complicated, historical events.<\/p>\n

The director of the Cnter for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbiajan, Farhad Mammadov said that the statement of the Nationwide Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev \u201cAzerbaijan and Turkey are one nation and two states\u201d and the statement of the founder of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk \u201cThe joy of Azerbaijan is the joy of Turkey and the trouble of Azerbaijan is also our trouble\u201d constitute the indispensible foundation for the relations between two countries.<\/p>\n

Samsun deputy of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey, the member of the Parliamentary Committee for Foreign Relations of the Grand National Assmebly of Turkey\u00a0 Hasan Basri Kurt said that the \u201cone nation- two states\u201d principle over the past years covered all the spheres of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations, which had not the analogue in the world. He emphisized that the relations founded on the fiendship and brotherhood had reached the level of strategic partnership today.<\/p>\n

The head of the department of SAM, Javid Valiyev, the head of the Board of Turkish \u00a0SAM Chiydem Tenker Koksal, the head of the \u201cInternational Economy<\/a><\/span>\u201d chair at UNEC, professor \u0130rshad Karimli<\/a><\/span>, the teacher of Gazi University of Turkey Bekir Tumen Somuncuoghlu, the director of Research Center of\u00a0 \u0130ran Hakk\u0131 Uygur stated that today the high level strategic partnership relations between the both two states developed successfully by the leaders of the countries, the historical brotherhood relations of our peoples, the mutual support in the international and regional organizations, joint efforts in the implementation of transnational projects served to the well-being of our peoples, including the peace, stability and progress in the region.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
