Professor Adalat Muradov, UNEC’s Rector, has met with newly admitted students of the University.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

The main goal of the meetings was to introduce the university to the first-year students more closely, to provide the detailed information about innovations, and as well as, to listen to issues that concern them, to achieve the operational resolution\u00a0and\u00a0 to\u00a0exchange views.<\/p>\n

Congratulating the first-year students on the occasion of getting the student title, the rector thanked them for choosing UNEC, the largest economy-oriented university in the region, teaching in 4 languages, and wished them success in their education.<\/p>\n

Noting that, the selection of profession is one of the most important stages of human life, Muradov said\u00a0tht\u00a0econoists\u00a0were in need at all times.\u00a0 The rector emphasized the importance of becoming a worthy citizen, who loves his country and nation,\u00a0 along with perfectly mastering their profession.<\/p>\n

Noting that, in the recent years, there had been considerable progress in the number of highest scoring applicants to available places at UNEC, he (or Professor Muradov) said that 63 percent of applicants that scored more than 600 points in specialty group II (this year) had chosen UNEC.<\/p>\n

Speaking about many innovations implemented at UNEC, the rector said that, the new standards had been introduced in Turkish language teaching from this year and the number of specialties had been increased. Pointing to the improvement of staff training in technical and technological specialties at UNEC, Muradov stressed that the number of qualifications in this direction can be increased. The rector recommended the students to make suggestions in regard\u00a0with\u00a0the teaching process and to be\u00a0initiative.<\/p>\n

Stating that, the rich library\u00a0was bases\u00a0for the education of high quality, A. Muradov noted that the library, meeting the modern standards and working for 7 days and 24 hours would be available soon for the use of students at UNEC.<\/p>\n

The rector encouraged the students to be active in the social and public life of UNEC. He encouraged the students with special talents to join the UNEC Creative Center to effectively spend\u00a0 their leisure time and seize the opportunities of the radio at UNEC.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, the questions taken interest in the students were answered and the proposals\u00a0were listened.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
