UNEC hosted event dedicated to the 15th of June National Salvation Day.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

The event began with the playing of the State Anthem. Then, by the order of the Knowledge Foundation and UNEC a film \u201cFrom Salvation to Renaissance\u201d was presented made by \u201cSes\u201d media group.<\/p>\n

Among \u00a0the 91 well-known intellectuals calling Heydar Aliyev to Baku, who had been the \u00a0chairman of the Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly in 1992, who had signed an appeal for his return to power, who had been announced the \u201cGolden Fund\u201d of New Azerbaijan Party, the event was attended by honored scientist, professor with the order of \u201cGlory\u201d, public and political figure Shakhlar Askarov\u00a0 and \u00a0\u00a0member of the \u00a0Political Council of NAP, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Iki Sakhil” Vugar Rahimzadeh.<\/p>\n

Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov spoke about the importance of the National Salvation Day, one of the most glorious pages of Azerbaijan’s history of independence. The rector said that 91 Azerbaijani intellectuals, who quickly understood that the state of Azerbaijan and its statehood were facing real threats, played an exceptional role in the return of National Leader Heydar Aliyev to power. He pointed out that Azerbaijan \u00a0\u00a0soon stepped forward to economic stability and development after Heydar Aliyev returned to power with the people’s insistence.<\/p>\n

Professor Shahlar Askerov spoke about unprecedented services of nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev in gaining independence. Stating that every speech of this genius personified a great philosophy, based on deep logic, Sh. Askarov said that the great leader was a genius person who had worked hard for the development of the Azerbaijani people and state, ready to sacrifice his life.<\/p>\n

He said that the great person had done all the work necessary for the development and survival of the Azerbaijani state during his activity, prevented chaos, and put the state on the path of development and pointed out\u00a0 \u00a0that today’s independent Azerbaijan is a masterpiece of Heydar Aliyev.<\/p>\n

Member of the NAP Political Council, Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper \u201cIki Sakhil\u201d \u00a0Vugar Rahimzadeh said that Heydar Aliyev, who returned to power for the second time on the people’s insistent demand, was elected Chairman of the Supreme Soviet of Azerbaijan on June 15 and despite all the risks, took great care of the people’s salvation mission, thereby \u00a0the tension and confrontation that lasted for many years in the country stopped, our republic survived the civil war and the threat of disintegration. V. Rahimzadeh said today that the triumph of the national liberation ideology is reflected in the sustainable development of our independent republic and has further enhanced Azerbaijan’s influence in the region and in the world.<\/p>\n

Professor Mahish Ahmadov, head of the department of the “Economy Regulation”, spoke about successful reforms in the field of national economy security. He noted that today as a result of this policy, Azerbaijan is among the leading countries in the world free of global crisis.<\/p>\n

Ali Alirzayev, the head of the “Social Development Economy and Pricing” department, who had been \u00a0a witness of those days and who closely participated in the return of great leader Heydar Aliyev to power, spoke about the path leading the Azerbaijani people to Liberation.<\/p>\n

At the end, \u00a0UNEC students, who became\u00a0 members of New Azerbaijan Party, have been given the membership cards.<\/p>\n
