Memorandum of Understanding on co-development activities in the fields of education, science and training was signed between the Azerbaijan State University of Economics and the State Committee for Securities on January 28.<\/p>\n
The document was signed by the Rector of ASUE, Professor Adalat Muradov and Chairman of the SCS Rufat Aslanli.<\/p>\n
The main purpose of the contract signed between the parties is providing support to the organization awareness work and training about the Securities market, its goods and services and the highly skilled personnel as well. The planning and execution of joint projects, conducting joint researches on capital market, organization of mutual cadres\u2019 exchange, internships, scientific-practical conferences and workshops will also be available within the transaction.<\/p>\n
Rector of ASUE, Professor Adalat Muradov noted that the Securities market, which is the important area of the financial system, is always in the center of the government\u2019s attention and the progressive events in this field have been carried out. As an example to this, we can indicate the State Program on \u201cThe Development of the Securities Market in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2011-2020ss\u201d signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He has highly appreciated the activities performed by the State Committee for Securities and the close relations of the committee with the higher educational institutions in the direction of informing them about the Securities Market and improving professional development.<\/p>\n
Chairman of the State Committee for Securities Rufat Aslanli pointed in his speech that expanding the cooperation in the fields of education, science and training will contribute to improving the students\u2019 financial knowledge and their formation as rich economic literate staff. The Training Center on Capital Market performing under the Committee will organize different training programs for the students\u2019 growth as the competitive labor force in the market. The Chairman suggested the students to perform as the \u201cambassadors of the Capital Market\u201d to improve the promotion of the knowledge on Securities Market in public. The Stock Market laboratory is to be established at the institution to obtain the practical knowledge within the contract.<\/p>\n
