\"UNEC_yeni_200220\"<\/a>The first Scientific Council of the new academic year has been \u00a0\u00a0held \u00a0at UNEC.\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Vice-Rector for Teaching and Training Technologies, \u00a0Associate Professor\u00a0 \u00a0Garay Musayev made a report on the results of the exam session of the spring semester of the 2020\/2021 academic year. The report announced the results at the bachelor’s and master’s levels, as well as an inter-faculty comparative analysis of the results.<\/p>\n

The vice-rector also informed about the preparations for the current academic year. It was noted that the training will be continuous assessment\u00a0 \u00a0and assessment on\u00a0 bachelor’s level will be carried out in the order of 20 + 30 + 50 on 100 points. Here, 20 points will be allocated to student activity, 30 points to the midterm and 50 points to the midterm exam. Attendance limit will be applied to students’ participation in classes, no points will be \u00a0\u00a0given \u00a0for attendance. Starting from this year, the teaching of business correspondence and communication in a foreign language (English) will be organized in a new form. Students will be tested and placed in foreign language classes in groups according to their level of knowledge, and new students will be placed in groups according to their scores in the entrance exams.<\/p>\n

It was also noted that IUDDP and Minor programs have been introduced at UNEC in the current academic year, and the selection of students for the programs has been completed.<\/p>\n

Then, Vice-Rector for Digitalization, Associate Professor Ragif Gasimov made a report on preparations for the 2021\/2022 academic year at UNEC. The report provided detailed information on the work done in the EDUMAN system for the autumn semester, innovations added to the system, the construction of hydride classrooms and preparation for the teaching process. He said that all educational buildings are ready for the new academic year, as well as instructions for the inspection of COVID-19 passports and immunity certificates of faculty, students and staff have been prepared.<\/p>\n

The director of the Center for Correspondence and Additional Education, Associate Professor Sabuhi Tanriverdiyev made a report on the results of the summer semester and analyzed the results.<\/p>\n

Director of the UNEC Examination Center, Associate Professor, Sohrab Isayev informed about the results of the summer exam session of the 2021\/2022 academic year. After hearing the reports, they were accepted by the board members.<\/p>\n

Rector of UNEC, Professor Adalat Muradov made proposals on a number of changes at the Scientific Council.<\/p>\n

By the vote of the council members, a decision was made to establish a department of “International Trade and Logistics” at UNEC. The department of “Finance and Financial Institutions” was merged with the department of “Accounting and Auditing” and the department of “Finance and Accounting” was established. The e-university department was renamed the “Department of Teaching and Training Technologies” and transferred to the UNEC Extern Center. \u201cTeaching Methodological Center\u201d was merged with the \u201cTeaching Quality Assessment and Management Center\u201d to create “Methodological and quality assurance center of teaching”.<\/p>\n

The Scientific Council continued with the discussion of \u00a0current issues.<\/p>\n

It was noted that work has been started to differentiate the salaries of administrative employees from the new academic year, and a new model for evaluating the work of administrative employees will be introduced.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
