Department of the Students\u2019 Initiatives and Organization of Projects was established at Azerbaijan State University of Economics. The department aims to develop the specialists who are mature socio- active, responsible and citizens with high moral and civil qualities and implement the projects in this direction.<\/p>\n
The department will carry out the activity in the direction of creating the optimally and imaginative social and pedagogical training environment directed to the development of students\u2019 self- identity and self- realization, forming a viable personalities who are active, targeted and initiative, able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and response, capable to make management decisions. It will also perform in the direction of shaping students\u2019 civil position, creating conditions for the protection and improvement of the moral and cultural values in the modern living conditions and preservation of the university traditions. In addition it will be engaged in the implementation of complex measures on coordination and assistance of student self- governing bodies, public and creative student unions and support initiatives and students\u2019 socio- cultural, patriotic, moral and entrepreneurial training.<\/p>\n
The newly established department will implement different projects on students\u2019 life serving ASUE\u2019s interests. It will carry out the management function to expand and administrate students\u2019 social activities. The department will also provide ASUE students\u2019 participation in the local and international camping, forums, symposiums.<\/p>\n
At the same time it will be also engaged in financial assistance to students, searching for alternative sources of social and financial support, analyzing the students\u2019 problems and psychological counseling; hold projects, lectures, forums and round- table discussions on legal infringements, drug addiction, prevention of infections of alcoholism, smoking, tuberculosis, AIDS and others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
