Firstly, the National Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s monument erected in Aghstafa region was honored.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Then they took part in the National Hero of the Republic of Azerbaijan martyr Rafig Alijanov\u2019s 50<sup>th<\/sup> Anniversary. The visited the National Hero\u2019s monument and his grave in Kochvelli village. The Ministry of Defense Orchestra\u2019s performance was presented.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">UNEC Rector, Dr. Adalat Muradov spoke about the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander- in Chief Ilham Aliyev\u2019s care to army building and military servicemen in the country. He talked about healthy unity between the army and the people, the state and the military servicemen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">UNEC Head of Department, Professor, member of the Parliament Khanhuseyn Kazimli spoke about the National Hero Rafig Alijanov\u2019s life and heroism shown in the battle against the Armenian occupants. He stressed that, the National Hero\u2019s daughter is UNEC\u2019s alumni and the son is a third year undergraduate.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Then the participants of the event made a trip to Aghstafa, Gazakh, Tovuz, Shamkir, Goranboy and Gedebey regions, met with the soldiers and officers of the front line presented them gifts. They talked to soldiers located 80 meters from the enemy trenches; got acquainted with their living conditions and lifestyle. They were satisfied with the soldiers\u2019 fighting spirit and conditions created for them. Once again, they became convinced that the Azerbaijani army is eager to silence the enemy and to sit them back.
