A new appointment was made to the position of vice-rector for Science at UNEC.<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

Associate Professor Fariz Ahmadov, director of the International Master’s and Doctoral Center, has been appointed vice-rector for Science of UNEC.<\/p>\n

Fariz Ahmadov was born in 1983.<\/p>\n

In 1999-2003, he received a bachelor’s degree in “Business Organization and Management” at the Faculty of Economics of the Turkish World of UNEC.<\/p>\n

In 2002-2005, he received a master’s degree in “Management and organization” at the Sakarya University of Turkey, and in 2006-2010, he received a PhD.\u00a0\u00a0In 2016, he was awarded the academic title of “Associate Professor” by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n

He started his career as a teacher at the Faculty of Economics of the Turkish World of UNEC. From 2010 to\u00a02014, he worked as a teacher, headteacher, associate professor, and deputy head of department at that faculty. In 2014-2017, he continued to work as the head of the “Economics and Management” department. Since 2016, he has been appointed as the director of the International Master’s and Doctorate Center.<\/p>\n

In 2016, he was the winner of the ” Young Scientist of 2016″ competition organized by the Foundation for the Development of Science under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. In 2020, he was awarded the “Advanced Education Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan” badge, as well as the “Decree of Honor” of UNEC.<\/p>\n

He is the author of more than 10 scientific articles published in international scientific journals and more than 10 articles indexed in prestigious scientific platforms (Web of Science, SCOPUS).<\/p>\n

He is the co-author of the books “Strategic Management”, “Research Methods” and “Strategic Management in Business”, “Quality Management System”, “New Directions in the Global Economy”, “Exploring The Green Economy: Issues, Challenges, and Benefits” Economic Development – Michael Todaro – Stephen Smith” is the scientific editor of the book translation. In addition to the World Bank, UNDP, and Erasmus+ projects.\u00a0\u00a0He is the leader and coordinator of scientific research projects supported by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, SOCAR Midstream, and PASHA Holding companies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
