We highly appreciate Azerbaijan&#8217;s chances in this direction and we consider its participation in these processes necessary for the future of tertiary education in our country.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>We spent about 10 years building the necessary system for the introduction of distance education at UNEC &#8211; Digital UNEC. All work has already been completed.<\/p>\n<p>First, in 2014, based on the recommendations of the Minister of Education, we began serious research and discussions on distance education.\u00a0We decided not to use existing LMSs and to create UNEC&#8217;s own LMS.\u00a0In the shortest possible time, that is, in the 2015\/16 academic year, we put into use the &#8220;EduMan &#8211; Unified Electronic Learning Management System&#8221; (LMS) at UNEC as a pilot.\u00a0EduMan is a UNEC product and belongs to UNEC.\u00a0At the next stage, we aim to export EduMan.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The rector of\u00a0UNEC\u00a0 Professor\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/rectoradalat\">Adalat Muradov<\/a><\/span> shared these thoughts on his official Facebook page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;There are still no &#8220;Harvards&#8221; in distance education, and they are currently being formed.
