On February 23, “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for socio-economic development” – I Networking Forum of Economist Students was held with the financial support of the Youth Fund of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the organization of the “Support to Economist Students” Public Union\u00a0and the partnership of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n

The purpose of the forum was to educate students in\u00a0economics on “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for socio-economic development” and increase their role in the implementation of National Priorities.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the opening of the forum, the\u00a0vice-rector of UNEC\u00a0 for student affairs, associate professor Saadat Gandilova, welcomed the participants and spoke about the importance of promoting “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for Socio-economic Development” among young people, especially student economists.\u00a0He said that for the first time within the framework of the forum, young people studying economics have\u00a0come together, and in the panel sessions teachers and students will hold discussions covering all directions of National Priorities.<\/p>\n

Samad Rzazadeh, chairman of the \u00abSupport to Economist Students\u00bb Public Association, and moderator of the forum, said that the youth will be informed about the national priorities in the discussions, and their proposals and initiatives in this direction will be presented to the relevant institutions.\u00a0At the same time, he said that it is planned to hold meetings and conduct discussions between the members of the working group made up of students and the officials of several state institutions.<\/p>\n

Then the vice-chairman of the Union of Azerbaijan Economists, associate professor of UNEC Elshad Samadzade, teacher of the Department of \u00abEconomics\u00bb\u00a0Aslan Azimzade, and chairman of UNEC Student Youth Organization Jala Teymurlu made speeches on the topic.<\/p>\n

The forum continued with panel sessions devoted to the topics of competitive human capital and modern innovation space, clean environment, and green growth country.<\/p>\n
