{"id":197418,"date":"2024-03-18T15:14:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-18T11:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/unec-de-enerji-iqtisadiyyati-ve-yasil-kecid-uzre-gelecek-perspektivlere-hesr-olunan-beynelxalq-seminar-kecirilib-2\/"},"modified":"2024-03-19T08:55:52","modified_gmt":"2024-03-19T04:55:52","slug":"unec-de-enerji-iqtisadiyyati-ve-yasil-kecid-uzre-gelecek-perspektivlere-hesr-olunan-beynelxalq-seminar-kecirilib","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/unec-de-enerji-iqtisadiyyati-ve-yasil-kecid-uzre-gelecek-perspektivlere-hesr-olunan-beynelxalq-seminar-kecirilib\/","title":{"rendered":"An international seminar devoted to future perspectives on energy economy and green transition is held at UNEC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><strong>An international seminar entitled &#8220;Future Perspectives on Energy Economy and Green Transition and Adaptation to Climate Change&#8221; has been\u00a0held under the joint organization of UNEC, Black Sea Sustainable Development Solutions, and Black Sea Universities networks.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The guests from Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria,\u00a0and Ukraine, who were participants of the event, first got acquainted with the infrastructure of UNEC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking at the opening of the seminar, vice-rector for science associate professor Fariz Ahmadov welcomed the participants, talked about the relevance of the topic, and informed the participants\u00a0 about the program of the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vice-rector for international relations and programs Neman Muradli made a\u00a0speech\u00a0about the international projects implemented by UNEC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The seminar continued with discussions devoted to energy economy priorities, climate change, transition to a green economy, green energy, and sustainability in the member states of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) in addition to Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr.\u00a0Grigoris Zarotiadis and Nicolas Moussiopoulos, professors of the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki, Greece, discussed the future problems in the modern and energy economy, Professor Dr. Marina Stefanova from\u00a0Sofia University, Bulgaria, \u00a0on an active approach to the green transition and the involvement of interesting sides, Tamer Atabart, professor of the Bo\u011fazi\u00e7i University of Turkey, on the role of Turkey in the balanced and smart energy transition between Asia and Europe, Nargiz Hajiyeva, head of the UNEC department, young researcher, on the evaluation of green energy initiatives in the Karabakh region, the director of\u00a0\u00a0 Department of International Cooperation Narmin Ibrahimova spoke about the Erasmus+ projects won by UNEC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ambassador Michael Kristides, former Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization, Sergey Byelikov, professor of the Zaporizhia National Technical University of Ukraine, Michael Musov, vice-rector of the Bulgarian National University, and Marta Garcia-Haro, secretary of the Sustainable Development Solutions Network, made presentations on scientific research priorities in energy economy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An international seminar entitled &#8220;Future Perspectives on Energy Economy and Green Transition and Adaptation to Climate Change&#8221; has been\u00a0held under the joint organization of UNEC, Black Sea Sustainable Development Solutions, and Black Sea Universities networks.
