Awarding ceremony of the competition \u201cYoung Investor 2015\u201d organized by the State Committee on Securities of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SCSRA) and Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) and held among the students of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) took place on November 13.<\/p>\n
The top three places\u2019 winners were the undergraduates of the International School of Economics of UNEC. A fourth- year student of the School Ali Orujov was awarded I place, a third- year student Aida Hasanova II place and a fourth- year student Sevinj Aliyeva III place.<\/p>\n
Deputy Chairman of the SCSRA Ilgar Muradov informed the participants about the competition during the event. He emphasized the importance of the event in professional development of the students, formation of the knowledge and training in the field of securities market and as well as increasing the capacity to impose theoretical knowledge in practice.<\/p>\n
Drawing the students\u2019 attention to sustained cooperation established between the SCSRA and UNEC and the Memorandum of Understanding signed as a logical result of it I. Muradov noted that numerous enlightening events have been implemented by the committee.<\/p>\n
Vice- rector of UNEC for Students\u2019 Affairs Saadat Gandilova expressed gratitude to the organizers of the contest for the realization of sustainable measures to improve students\u2019 awareness, knowledge and skills. She also expressed confidence for students that the created condition will help them in growing as a specialist and in their future activities.<\/p>\n
The finalists\u2019 presentations reflecting the proposals to solve the financial problems faced by the company via the securities market were heard as a continuation of the event.<\/p>\n
