Speakers included Sabina Isgandarova, instructor in environmental management at the University of Calgary, Canada; Avazbek Khalbekov, head of department at Uzbekistan\u2019s Center for Sustainable Development; Firuza Jafarova, senior lecturer at the Department of environmental protection and economics at UNEC; and Aytek Babayeva, deputy director of the Scientific Research and Design Institute for Energy under \u201cAzerenergy\u201d JSC.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The panelists shared their insights on the implementation of alternative energy technologies, energy efficiency, environmental safety, and energy policy frameworks. Discussions also covered the economic, ecological, and technological potential of alternative energy sources; carbon emissions; environmental risks associated with the production and application of renewable energy sources; and viable solutions for a successful green energy transition.
