The seminar was jointly organized by the <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/research\/kafedralar\/sosial-sferanin-iqtisadiyyati-ve-idare-olunmasi\/\">Department of Economy and Management of Social Sphere<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and the Student Trade Union Committee (STUC) of the Faculty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Making a speech during the seminar, the acting Dean of the Faculty <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/dos-quliyev-asiman-aydin-oglu\/\">Asiman Guliyev<\/a><\/span>\u00a0congratulated the participants with the World Tourism Day and spoke about the role of tourism in the development of Azerbaijan economy, especially non- oil sector and the significant duties incumbent upon the UNEC scholars in increasing tourism potential.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Information about the reforms in tourism sphere, State Programs and the execution mechanism of the obligations arising from the Presidential decree of the Republic of Azerbaijan were heard within the presentation made by the teacher of the Department of \u201cEconomy and Management of Social Sphere\u201d Yalchin Kocherli.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Head of the Department \u201cEconomy and Management of Social Sphere\u201d, Professor <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/prof-elirzayev-eli-qembereli-oglu\/\">Ali Alirzayev<\/a><\/span>\u00a0made a report on \u201cDevelopment of Tourism in Azerbaijan, Problems and Prospects\u201d. Deputy Dean of the School of Economics <span style=\"color: #000080;\"><a style=\"color: #000080;\" href=\"https:\/\/unec.edu.az\/en\/i-e-n-dos-eliyev-musrevan-eli-oglu\/\">Mushirevan Aliyev<\/a><\/span>\u00a0shared his views on modern problems of teaching related with tourism with the participants of the event.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Students distinguished in summer internship majoring in \u201cTourism and Hotel Keeping\u201d were awarded certificates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The administration of the faculty, the Student Trade Union of the faculty, academic staff and the undergraduate and graduate students majoring in \u201cTourism and Hotel Keeping\u201d attended the workshop.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A scientific workshop dedicated to the World Tourism Day has been held at the School of Economics\u00a0of Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC).
