The \u201cInternational Volunteers Day\u201d for the sake of economic and social development has been marked in the Career Center<\/a><\/span>\u00a0of the University with the initiative of the information department of the Ministry of Education \u201cOne\u201d- volunteer student program, NAYORA and the NGO and Youth Organizations in partnership with UNEC. The event\u2019s supporting media are AZERTAC State Information Agency<\/a><\/span>, \u201cGreenPen.az\u201d Education network<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and Vesti.az<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The Director of UNEC Career Center Fuad Aliyev delivered the information about Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) and the Career Center in his opening speech. According to him, the students\u2019 database, mechanisms for students\u2019 development are developed in the Career Center of UNEC and labor fairs are organized, analytic groups are established by, they are provided with business projects and consultant services in the Career Center of UNEC.<\/p>\n

Delivering the information about the meetings with Educationist Associations, \u201cInternational Volunteers Day\u201d, philosophy of volunteerism, importance of volunteers\u2019 support by the government, NGO and private sector, \u201cSupport Volunteers Campaign\u201d of UN and online campaign support of human potential made by volunteers, the Coordinator on Institutional Development of the Information Department of the Ministry of Education Elchin Sardarov made his recommendations on implementing initiatives in science, education, health, recruitment, peace and other fields, becoming more active and share the information with the coevals.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, the representative of the Student-volunteer program \u201cOne\u201d of Education Ministry Janoghlan Ilyasov made a presentation on \u201cStudent Volunteer Program\u201d.<\/p>\n

In his speech he talked about the establishment of a single database of students-volunteers by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, systemization of volunteer activity, formation of volunteer culture, development of student-volunteers\u2019 overview and creation of their social activism by involving them to volunteer activity without leaving education. Informing about the 1st<\/sup> Republic Forum of Azerbaijan Student Volunteers on the eve of the \u201cInternational Volunteer Day and opening of the Student-volunteer Program \u201cONE\u201d, J.Ilyasov acquainted the participants one of the fundamental principles of the program student- self governing principle and its online database volunteer.edu.az. Students become members of the program by getting registered online and create their \u201cVolunteer Profile\u201d here. 6606 students have already been registered online via the official page of the Student-Volunteer Program \u201cONE\u201d.<\/p>\n

The International Relations Secretary of the National Council of Azerbaijan Republic Youth Organizations Ilhama Gasimova provided the participants with the information about the history volunteerism in Azerbaijan, international and national volunteer programs, volunteer service of Azerbaijan and the European volunteer service and their goals and the site of the European volunteer service www.europa.eu<\/a> making a presentation on \u201cVolunteerism in Azerbaijan: Experience and Opportunities\u201d within the information day.<\/p>\n

Interesting and beneficial presentations on attitude to science and education, culture, human culture, spirituality, development of individual talent, initiative and innovation, volunteerism and other issues of interest were made to young people by the President of Cultural Association of NGO\u2019 leaders and scholars \u201cSimurg\u201d, Professor of Futures Studies Fuad Mammadov and the Chairman of Public Union \u201cProgress and Democracy\u201d, Doctor of Social Sciences Ahmad Gasham Oghlu.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
