Scientific-practical Conference devoted to the 90th<\/sup> Jubilee of merited scientist, corresponding member of National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Agil Aliyev\u2019s birthday have been held at Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC). The well-known economist scholar\u2019s colleagues, friends, relatives, scientists and intellectuals attended the conference.<\/p>\n

UNEC Rector, Professor Adalat Muradov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0noted the jubilee is organized in accordance with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev\u2019s decree about the \u201cCelebration of Agil Aliyev\u2019s 90th<\/sup> Jubilee\u201d. He said Agil Aliyev\u2019s researches in the direction of the country\u2019s socio-economic development; especially improving social welfare of citizens would be significant in the future development of the country. Rector stressed that the prominent scientist was a representative of a family to ensure stability of present Azerbaijan and play important role in the dynamic development of the country.<\/p>\n

Bringing to the attention of conference attendees the fact that Agil Aliyev was engaged in pedagogical activity, as well as efficient scientific research, Rector said today there are many students in Azerbaijan and abroad who realize the influenced scientist\u2019s ideas: \u201cWe are honored to study Agil Aliyev\u2019s contributions\u201d.<\/p>\n

Head of UNEC Department of \u201cCustoms and Trade<\/a><\/span>\u201d, Professor Arif Shakaraliyev<\/a><\/span>\u00a0spoke about the outstanding representative of Azerbaijan\u2019s science of economy Agil Aliyev\u2019s rich scientific activity, significance of works and high human qualities. Agil Aliyev was a scientist to give valuable contributions to the science of economy. The role of reforms in the socio- economic development of Azerbaijan and investigation of the problems to improve the citizens\u2019 living standards occupy significant role in his scientific performances.<\/p>\n

Vice-president of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee, Academician Isa Habibbayli said the development of society which form main directions of social and humanitarian sciences in our country are investigated from various aspects in the science. Agil Aliyev\u2019s scientific works dedicated to the role and significance of social area in the development of society eliminated the gaps in the economic science.<\/p>\n

Academician, Chairman of Milli Majlis\u2019 Committee Ziyad Samadzade brought to attention prominent economist\u2019s pedagogical activity along with efficient scientific research and pedagogical. Z.Samadzade said a notable scholar investigated human\u2019s social life in line with his place and role in society, conducted generalizations and made conclusions; thus the social image of Azerbaijan society was determined. In this sense, Agil Aliyev\u2019s study of topical issues serves to the investigation and substantiation of urgent issues in society.<\/p>\n

Academician Ahliman Amiraslanov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0highlighted the outstanding scientists always drew to attention the problems of health within his scientific activities. He said that the issues of the interaction between the health and economic development occupied special place in Agil Aliyev\u2019s study. He conducted research in planning of health services, providing dynamic growth of costs and improving demographic development indicators and grounded concrete facts to refuse residual financing of health. The scholar was one of the authors of the scheme for the deployment of productive forces.<\/p>\n

Deputy Chairman of Republic Council of Elder, Academician Teymur Bunyadov noted that Agil Aliyev was closely involved in the development of complex programs for scientific and technological development in Azerbaijan. Meanwhile, he stressed his consistent services on the analysis of economic problems regarding the protection of public health and that he was one of the authors of development scheme of the productive forces in our republic. He emphasized the scientist\u2019s researches about the role of economic reforms in social advancement, study of the social problems of the population in conditions of market relations were of great interest by community.<\/p>\n

At the end of the Conference, making a speech on behalf of Agil Aliye\u2019s family members, his daughter Zarifa Aliyeva expressed her gratitude to UNEC staff for organizing such a prestigious event. Z.Aliyeva spoke about President Ilham Aliyev\u2019s and his spouse\u2019s contributions for the development of Azerbaijan, improving people\u2019s welfare, emphasizing the attention rendered to scientists in the country.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
