We were 8 children in the family, four sisters and four brothers. Ramzi was the third child in the family. He was distinguished at school with courage, honesty and sense of justice. He dreamt for being a serviceman. When he was in the 8th form, the teacher tasked them to write an essay on “What do you dream to become?” He had expressed his desire with such nice words and got 5. Still in the secondary school, he was very sincere attitude to his teachers. He was fine organizational and self-driven, so he participated in all events of the school actively. After he completed the secondary school, entered to the Azerbaijan Institute of National Economy, current UNEC. He had a lot of friends within his studies. He also was very friendly to his teachers too. I remember, once there was a wedding party of one of the techers. Ramzi was invited to the party. The wedding took place in the “Saadat Sarayi”. Ramzi made a speech within the wedding; unfortunately I cannot remember the teacher’s name to get the video. All the young people were sent to military service at the appropriate age. Ramzi also stopped his studies and was sent to service. He served for two years in the military unit near Moscow. The panic started I February of 1988. The horror started in all regions of Garabagh and in Lachin too. When the situation seemed so, my both brothers left their studies incomplete and returned to Lachin. My mother cried and begged… She said let your elder brothers go. But they said: “Let them look after you and our sisters”. I cannot forget Ramzi’s words up to date. He said so: “Mum, we can always continue our studies. However, if you miss your Motherland, there is no need for your diploma too. He felt as if was in charge of all the fighters. One day we were informed that Ramzi was killed… We, four sisters beat ourselves… But Mother did not believe, she said it is impossible. Stream of people took to the house to offer condolences for nine days, but my mother said my son will return… She canned compotes with the aim that Ramzi will take them to soldiers… Mother’s heart was not mistaken. We settled in Imishli to my father’s friends. We hoped that Ramzi and Fuad were fighting, this settlement and migration is temporary. On May 26 of 1992 father’s friend delivered the information that Ramzi’s leg was injured and he is in hospital in Aghjabadi. We went and saw that people gathered and understood that were deceived. In his 24 one day before, on May 25 Ramzi died heroically in the intense battles for the province Gulabirt of Lachin region. He had no address no land… The martyr had no home to send his coffin. Armenian destroyed everything. Therefore, his corpse was brought to Aghjabadi region.
