Scientific workshop on \u201cStrategic Roadmap for the Development of Vocational Education and Training in the Republic of Azerbaijan\u201d was held in the School of Economics<\/a><\/span>\u00a0of UNEC.<\/p>\n

Dean, Associate Professor Asiman Guliyev<\/a><\/span>\u00a0said serious reforms are being held I education sector of the country within the seminar attended by the academic staff of the departments performing under the School. The adoption of the \u201cStrategic Roadmap for the Development of Vocational Education and Training in the Republic of Azerbaijan\u201d will help to eliminate the problems existing in this area.<\/p>\n

A senior teacher of the Department of \u201cEconomy and Organization of Labor<\/a><\/span>\u201d, Can. of Econ. Ismayil Ismayilov made a report on \u201cStrategic Roadmap for the Development of Vocational Education and Training in the Republic of Azerbaijan\u201d. He said that the science, which has directly become a productive force of post-industrial society as a result of scientific-technical revolution, plays a major role in economic development. It also increases the demand for highly qualified personnel in the labor market and makes the recruitment of skilled and semi- skilled employees difficult.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the solution of the issues stated in the above mentioned document, realization of the objectives set forth is not only state\u2019s interest, but also the interest of all economic entities. I.Ismayilov noted that as the cadres\u2019 development is mainly carried out in the technical specialized schools and lyceums, the development of this area is mainly focused on in the Strategic Roadmap.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the problems of vocational education in the country, I.Ismayilov at the same time delivered the information about the expected results of the realization of events envisaged by the Strategic Roadmap in connection with the development of vocational education in the country. With examples of world experience, he emphasized the significance of the document.<\/p>\n

An Associated Professor of the Department of \u201cEconomy and Administration of Labor\u201d Sevinj Bayramova spoke about the necessity of increasing standards of cadres\u2019 development in vocational schools and lyceums. She talked about the impact of the events intended to be held to the labor market.<\/p>\n

Head of the Department of \u201cEconomy and Administration of Labor\u201d, Professor Tofig Guliyev<\/a><\/span>\u00a0highlighted the importance of precise identifying of the problems to improve the efficiency of the vocational education and complex affairs to be done in this field. Director of the Graduate Center<\/a><\/span>, Prof. Gabil Manafov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0said that the \u201cStrategic Roadmap for the Development of Vocational Education and Training in the Republic of Azerbaijan\u201d is a very significant document on this ground.<\/p>\n

Within the next scientific workshop organized on \u201cThe Strategic Roadmap for the Development of the Affordable Housing in the Republic of Azerbaijan\u201d, the School Dean A.Guliyev spoke about strategic review in the country to housing needs until 2020 and strengthening position of the State Construction Agency for relevant infrastructure- schools, hospitals etc., fundamental and planned reconstruction of the cities for long-term period until 2025 and emphasized elimination of shortcomings intended for sustainable development of the housing sector at a reasonable price.<\/p>\n

Associated Professors of the Department of \u201cPrice and Pricing<\/a><\/span>\u201d G.Bayramov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and B.Sadigov<\/a><\/span>\u00a0made speeches within the seminar. Then views on the lecturers\u2019 speeches were exchanged. The reporters responded the participants\u2019 questions.<\/p>\n

At the end, the School Dean A.Guliyev who chaired the workshop noted that studying of the separate sectors of the Strategic Roadmap will be carried out within the next workshops.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
