Today is the 94th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s birthday.<\/em><\/p>\n

First lessons at UNEC are dedicated to Great Leader. Students were provided with the detailed information about the genius personality\u2019s life and performances by the academic staff of the university.<\/p>\n

The academic, teaching and student staffs of UNEC, including the employees visited the Great Leader\u2019s grave in the Honorary Cemetery. UNEC staff paid tribute to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s memory, laying a wreath on his grave.<\/p>\n

Student scientific conferences, rivalries, sports competitions and other events were held at UNEC on the eve of the genius personality\u2019s birthday.<\/p>\n

The topic of the student scientific-practical conference organized in the Russian School of Economics was \u201cStructural changes in the Economy of Azerbaijan took place in the context of the realization of the Strategic Roadmap\u201d. Besides UNEC\u2019s academic and student staffs, the event was attended by the representatives of Baku State University, University of Architecture and Construction, SACAR, Gazpromneft, State University of Dagestan and the business structures as well.<\/p>\n

Director of the Russian School of Economics, Assistant Professor Mansur Barkhudarov delivered the information about Heydar Aliyev\u2019s Economic strategy and the main directions of the Strategic Roadmap. The participants of the event highlighted the role of such events in improving students\u2019 scientific knowledge and skills and in their development too.<\/p>\n

The conference went on in the sessions took place after the plenary meetings. Winners of the two- day conference were awarded diplomas and certificates.<\/p>\n

Besides ADA University, Baku Business University, Azerbaijan State Agrarian University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Lenkoran State University, National Academy of Aviation, Azerbaijan University of Technology, Baku Eurasian University, Nakhchivan State University, Azerbaijan University of Tourism and Management, teaching and student staffs of UNEC\u2019s Zagatala Branch attended the student scientific conference held on \u201cEnsuring Sustainability of the National Economy in a New Development Stage: Problems and Perspectives\u201d.<\/p>\n

Reports on \u201cDevelopment Problems of the Business\u201d, \u201cStrategic Roadmap on the Production of Consumer Products: Consumer Safety as the Main Criterion\u201d, \u201cProvision of Financial Stability\u201d, \u201cEconomic Integration of Turkish-speaking Countries\u201d, \u201cStandards, Strategies and Experiences in the Development of Non-oil Sector\u201d and \u201cEconomic Development in condition of Globalization\u201d were heard within the conference organized in six sections.<\/p>\n

A competition of paintings on \u201cHeydar Aliyev and Modern Azerbaijan\u201d was organized among the students majoring in Technology and Design. The Jury consisting of the School Dean, Professor Vakil Huseynov, Head of the Department Design, PhD in Art Lala Mammadova and the academic staff of the Department reviewed handworks painted by the students. A painting by the IV year student Vusala Gurbanzade got the I place. Third- year students Aytaj Suleymanova and Ulker Dadashova were the II. The III place was achieved by the III course students Lala Orujova, Safura Isfandiyarli and Ebru Hasanova.<\/p>\n

Gazanfar Jafarov became the winner of the chess competition held among the teaching staff. Eldar Amirov was the II and Akbar Kerimov III of the rivalry.<\/p>\n

UNEC\u2019s academic and student staffs\u2019 excursions to the Heydar Aliyev Center were also arranged. Students were informed about the Heydar Aliyev Center in detail and were said that the Center performs in the direction of studying and investigating the establisher of the independent Azerbaijan, National Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s statehood philosophy, Azerbaijanism ideology and heritage in depth. In addition, the center implements projects to serve to the promotion of Azerbaijan history, language, culture and other national values and the development of science, education, culture, health, sports, ecology and economics.
