An event dedicated to the fight against global climate change was held at the Faculty of Economics and Management
An event on “Global climate changes and Azerbaijan’s main directions of action against climate changes” was held at the initiative of Fidan Gurbanova, head of the “Ecology” specialty of the “Public management and social innovations” department at UNEC’s Faculty of Economics and Management.
Gulnara Abbasova, deputy head of the National Hydrometeorology Service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Aygun Narimanova, deputy director of the Climate Change Center of the Service, and Matanat Avazova, senior adviser of the Department of International Cooperation and Climate Change, took part in the event held within the framework of the “Green UNEC” year.
Representatives of the Ministry made an interesting presentation on the topic at the event, and at the same time answered the questions of teachers and students about climate change.
The guests presented a book about climate changes to the UNEC library.
An exhibition of books on the study of the environment was also shown at the event by UNEC library No. 2.
