Turan Suleymanov, the employee of of the Department for the International Cooperation represented the UNEC in the summit held with the particiaption of more than 2500 education delegates from 70 countries.
In “EURIE-2018”, which includes the stand of 250 leading universities of the world, the corner of UNEC, the largest economy-oriented univeristy in the region providing the education in four languages, had attracted the special attention of the particiapans of the exhibition. The Malaysian Higher Education Minister Idris Jusoh, the President of Eurasian Universities Union , professor Mustafa Aydin and the rector of Istanbul Aydın University, the professor Yadigar Izmirli were among the visitors of the UNEC stand.
Taking into the account the given considerable rise to the position of Azerbaijan in the world education market, including influential international ratings, the visitors wishing to study economics in our country had addressed qustions regarding the admission to the UNEC Business School, the International and Master’s Degree Level Study and Doctoral Study Center, Turkish World Business School, the International Economics School. They are interested in the innovations implemented in the direction of attracting the foreign students to UNEC.
The UNEC stand attracted the attention of other participating universities, as well. The several leading universities of the world, targeting to integrate into the Azerbaijani education space, expressed their interest in cooperating with UNEC in this direction. In the Eurasian Higher Education Summit, continued 3 days, the internationalization, education policy, the student exchange programs, the regional training startegies, trends and opportunities were discussed and bilateral negotiations were conducted.
The “EURIE-2018” summit was held by the organization of the Eurasian Union of Universities and with the support of Turkish Foreign Economic Relations Board.
