The children of our martyred graduates celebrated “International Children’s Protection Day” at UNEC
An event dedicated to “International Children’s Day” was held for the children of our graduate students who were martyred in the 44-day Patriotic War under the organization of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) Student Trade Union Committee (THIK).
Along with the families of the martyrs, Rufat Suleymanli, Chairman of the UNEC Trade Union Committee, Ilkan Aliyev, the Chairman of the Student Trade Union Committee, Associate Professor Hafis Hajiyev, Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Arzu Mammadova, Director of the 24/7 Library, and active students took part in the event.
The participants of the event visited the Memorial-Commemorative Complex erected in memory of the martyrs at UNEC and commemorated the souls of the martyrs with a minute of silence.
Later, the event participants visited the 24/7 library, the students informed the event participants about the library, and gave the children interesting information about books.
At the end, an interesting show program was shown to the children and festive gifts were presented to them.
