The UNEC library launches the new project called the “Book of the Week”.

The goal of the project is to familiarize the teachers and students with the rich library fund. Within the framework of the project, we will be present a new book to the readers every week.

Thus, the “Book of the Week” is – “The issues of strengthening the financial provision of diversification of economy in Azerbaijan” by Vuqar Bayramov – Monograph/Scientific editor: A.J.Muradov. – Baku: “Qanun” Publishing house, 2018. – 352 p.

The monograph focused on strengthening the financial provision to diversify the economy and reform the economic diversification in Azerbaijan. In the research, both modern theories and the economic diversification reforms in countries rich in mineral resources have been analyzed in details. The research also covers the econometric assessment and its outcomes on the sectors. The economic impact of the fiscal, monetary and investment policies implemented in the process of economic diversification has been measured separately, as well. The goal is to achieve the results that will first of all identify the sectors with comparative advantages, which will lead to the development of more sophisticated sectoral strategies during the implementation of future reforms. Moreover, while evaluating the diversification of the economy and the development trends has been assessed the impact of tax incentives on the processes of diversifying of the VAR model implemented in country.   The two main models – Vector Autoregression (VAR) and the Simple Linear Regression (SLR) have been applied to ensure the effectiveness of economic evaluation.
